Pari Taichert

Pari Noskin Taichert is a New Mexico native who lived in many other places before having the good sense to come home. Born and raised in Albuquerque, she has watched her beloved state grow and change while still being tremendously misunderstood by the rest of the country.

An award-winning journalist and two-time Agatha Award finalist, Noskin Taichert writes witty, fun and thought-provoking mysteries about New Mexico’s lesser-known gems. Her books are full of real places—towns, restaurants, cultural hotspots—and some imagined ones as well. Sasha Solomon, the heroine of her series, is a wise-cracking public relations consultant who travels New Mexico’s many blue highways for her work. Sasha’s specialty is helping small towns figure out ways to get tourists to visit and spend more money in their locales. Anyone who lives in New Mexico knows the kinds of schemes these places can come up with.

From Clovis to Roswell, from Belen to Socorro and many points in between, Noskin Taichert celebrates New Mexico. She’s on a mission to change national misconceptions about our Land of Enchantment.

Noskin Taichert is currently working on the next Sasha Solomon mystery which is based in the Las Cruces area as well as a new series.
