Jane Lindskold
Jane Lindskold writes, and really loves writing. Her current publication credits include nearly twenty novels and over fifty short stories.

Her novels include "urban fantasy" (Changer, Legend’s Walking, and Child of a Rainless Year); "imaginary world fantasy" (the six volume Firekeeper Saga starting with Through Wolf’s Eyes and ending with Wolf’s Blood); mythic fantasy (The Buried Pyramid, The Pipes of Orpheus, Lord Demon); sword and sorcery (When the Gods Are Silent); and science fiction (Brother to Dragons, Companion to Owls, Marks of Our Brothers, Smoke and Mirrors, and Donnerjack).

Her latest project is the new "Breaking the Wall" series, which will begin with the release of Thirteen Orphans in 2008.

Lindskold’s short fiction fills in those categories she hasn’t gotten around to in novels yet, including mysteries and historicals.

Born in Washington, D.C., Lindskold has also lived in New York, and Virginia. She moved to New Mexico in 1994 and likes her new home state a great deal, despite the challenge of having to learn to garden in a completely different ecosystem than the one in which she grew up.

When not reading, writing or gardening, Jane enjoys various crafts, outdoor activities, and roleplaying games.
