She’s been a waitress, a college professor, a pharmacy assistant, and a secretary, and has written books on subjects from drawing to dreams, from astrology to the art of writing. Lisa’s novels, Dissonance and Coyote Morning, have been nominated for the PEN Southwest Book Award and the NM Press Women Zia Award, as well as chosen as reading selections throughout the U.S. (including NPR’s Performance Today’s Summer Reading Series).
